River Art Bags
From April through July The River created and distributed over 300 River Art Bags for children aged 3-10. To coincide with Diaper Day, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday a new bag was created to provide tools and supplies to create open ended art. These were a big hit with our families and we are going to make this an annual event during the summer months.

Christmas Fruit Baskets
The River distributed 50 fruit baskets to guests on December 18th . Thank you to WUJ County Medical Alliance and everyone else who donated items for the baskets.

Subsidy Program
Diaper days are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 9 am to 12 noon. We serve families residing within Washington County, TN and work with children up to the age of three. To register for the program, just come to a diaper day and bring proof of address (driver's license, utility bill, lease agreement, etc.) and proof of your child's birthdate (birth certificate, TN Care card, shot record) and we will get you registered into the program. We provide wipes on the first Wednesday each month and 28 diapers per child each diaper day for a total of 672 diapers a year. Also, thanks to funding through the Mooneyhan Family Foundation, we distribute a copy of Mr. Fred Rogers' book Going Potty to each child when they turn two years old.
